8 Months

The email I received from Pampers said, "Month 8 - An intrepid Explorer". I love it! So true!

Lexi is currently crawling and standing up. She tried to stand on her own but just tumbles. Its so cute - but STOP! No walking! lol. She's at the age where you can't leave her alone for a minute. I tried to put a clip in her hair the other day and it just ended up in her mouth. ugh. Then I tried a headband and Jacob ripped it out and said, "Lexi doesn't like it!" That's Jacob's way of saying HE doesn't like it.

Lexi's hair is still a little dark, but in the sun you can see red. Its so pretty. Jacob's hair was similar at this age but around 9 months his hair looked strawberry for a while but went back to brown. Her eyes are hazel like Jacob's and seem so big! I get comments about her lips a lot. People say that they're cute and plump.

AM pictures of Lexi. Such a Morning Person! Just like her mom. Super Cheesy Smile. While I was taking pictures I said, "Lexi, look at mommy" and Jacob yelled from his room, "No Mom, that's Princess Lexi!".

I'm gunna try really hard to get some good pics of Lexi today. In case you haven't already noticed...I'm camera/picture retarded and I hate it! Where's my cousin Kristine when I need her! :) lol. Hopefully pictures coming tonight.

Another Trip! Money Maker!!!

This is embarrassing - I almost didn't post this cause I'm addicted this week! The $3/10 coupon that I have is AMAZING and the deals are really good this week :) I can't help myself.

Here's the Totals. No breakdown this time.

Total oop: $8.18 -pd on Walgreen's gift card-

Rebates coming my way: $14 + 10% 1.40 = $15.40

How did I make out: PROFIT of $7.22 Yikes :D

Playing in the Tunnel

Behind the couch is Jacob's Tunnel. He loves his tunnel!! He uses the tunnel to hide and to play. Now that Lexi can crawl around, stand, & move around furniture Jacob is always trying to coax her into the tunnel. "Cummon Lexi, come play in the tunnel wif me!" Here's a couple pictures of the Tunnel Adventures!

Walgreens - Again!

Yup - Again! Today we went to Walgreen's then to McDonald's across the street to play on the toys. Jacob loved it! As long as he has other kids there he could play forever! I just got a coke and hung out with Lexi. It was nice. Less than $2 - AND I got a coupon for a free medium French Fry!

Here's the breakdown:

2 Windex Items = $.75ea after rebate
1 Oral B Toothbrush = FREE at register

I purchased all this with my Walgreen's gift card from last month's rebate (technically $0 oop)

I also used manuf. coupons, Walgreens coupons, and the $3/$10 from my new store.

Total: $21.09 on gift card

Rebates Coming: $14 + 10% = $15.40

Cost: $5.69

Not too bad I guess. Since I bought the bracelet and the carmex it kinda messed up my totals but I'm still really happy with the results. Halloween Candy - Check that off my list!

Walmart

Here's the GOODS from my trip to Walmart Last night. WITHOUT a website to help me this week :) Most of it is trial sized stuff that I purchased to get overage towards the tanning lotion I wanted ($4.28) and the apple juice Jacob NEEDED ($1.97 -UGH!!) Look at the refill packs for the clean & clear blackhead eraser - regularly $5.44 - only .44 each. Sweet Deal!

So I came in needing 2 items - $6.25+tax - and left with all this

-24 coupons later-yikes!

and only spent

...Drum Roll Please...

$5.71 + tax(2.96)

$8.67

Now why doesn't everyone coupon shop? Oh wait - cause its totally addicting and eats up all my spare time - BUT NOT MY MONEY!!!! Love it.

Walgreens - $10 for all this!

St. George Marathon

My brother Paul ran in the St. George Marathon on Saturday! I cannot believe what an emotional experience that was. His time was 3 hours 19 minutes. That's like 7.5 minutes/mi average! wow.

- 26.2 Miles -

Yikes!

More fun details and maybe pictures from my family trip to St. George coming soon.

Starting to add pics. Thanks to my family that actually takes pictures at family events :)

Spaghetti - looks funny huh

Mmmmmm.

Another Fabulous meal from Heath.

Breaded Chicken Tenders

If it were me cooking - I would just cover the frozen chicken in bread crumbs and bake it. But Heath - oh goodness - he used like 10 ingredients and the chicken was to die for! The veggies were just a package of (FREE) Stemfresh and they were a little crunchy (just like I like them) and super yummy!

The gist of how he did it...

Thawed the chicken tenders a little.

Dipped then in a mixture of eggs and milk (he wanted cream - but cuuuummon - no way)

The coated with a mixture of Italian bread crumbs (16oz for $1), "other spices", garlic powder, a dash of red pepper, and I think he said more - But hmmmm? He never really tells me how he does it and I'm usually juggling kids while he cooks. But WOW! Then when I ask how he did it he just sorta tells me while we eat. I need to write this stuff down for me to duplicate.

I've been thinking - what if I tried to make my own chicken nuggets? Any of you ever tried that?

This month will be 4 years

wow.

This is my favorite picture.

yup - that's diet coke
