My sweet friend Caryn and her two cute boys sometimes SAVE us and come to the lonely park while I walk. I love it :)

Luckily I had a sheet and a fleece blanket in the trunk to help keep the car clean. Next time I should just toss the kiddos in the trunk. lol

the scale that changed my life...

I'm in love. I purchased a food scale (from weight watchers) and I love it!! Most little weight watchers ladies use the scale to measure their baked chicken breasts or veggies....I use it for my baking! lol.

I'm always trying to perfect my bread baking. It takes so much practice! I know these loaves are in plastic...I forgot to take a picture before I put them in the bread bags...

I am actually so OCD that I mad sure each loaf was 30.3 ounces before placing them in the oven. Once in the oven, while baking I rotated them so they were browned on top evenly. (my oven sucks). I'm crazy.

I made 3 loaves but one is already gone! We ate it hot out of the oven with butter and my orange marmalade. It was amazing. I'm so thankful that my sweet friends in Denver Colorado that taught me how to make bread. Like...hands on...came to my house more than once...and taught me how to make bread! Then, my sweet husband...got me the best mixer ever. yay. Now my wheat doesn't just sit in food storage. Love that.

why am I a baking nutso....because I'm bored. Lol. I guess living in Egypt will do that to you.

The lonely park.

I walk at a nearby park in the mornings...its a new routine for the kids and I and they hate it.

What child doesn't LOVE going to the park?!

They call this park the LONELY park.

Are they Crazy?

Since we walk early in the morning...they're usually the only kids and the park and they cannot stand it! That's hilarious. Some days they can kinda entertain themselves...but most days they are yelling at me to take them home or trying to yank me off the walking trail to "just sit mom!"

Little punks. Don't they know I have like 40 more pounds to loose! Let me walk!

So today...mean mommy...made them sit on separate benches until I was finished...You don't want to play at the park...FINE...then sit at the park!

Such a mean mom....taking her kids to the park EVERY DAY! Call CPS.

On that note...when I'm having some one-on-one time with Denise Austin and I'm tossing around 5 lb weights...Stay out of my way! Thanks kids.

My daddy is better than your daddy!

At the park yesterday while I was doing very small (annoying) loops on the walking track around the toy area...Jacob had a little conversation with the dad and his little (3 ish?) son....

Jacob, "Why aren't you at work today?"

The man, "Because I have to take him to preschool" (pointing to his son)

Jacob, "My daddy is working today. My dad works very hard"

So cute. My sweet husband does work "very hard" for our family. I love the example he sets for our children. I feel so blessed to have him in our life. Jacob especially ADORES his dad (as all little boys do:) He totally has the...My daddy is better than your daddy syndrome...and I love it!

ps...I was very glad they had some entertainment on the playground. funny.

My son loves this cat. (the thing around his neck...:) He's been sleeping with it for um like forever. Over the past year or so he's been sleeping with it across his neck. Hilarious. His grandma Rose Avery gave it to him I think his first Christmas...ack...I can't remember. I'll have to check the journal...(my mom would appreciate that!) The cat has been washed like a gazillion times. Funny. One of the eyes are missing from the washing mashing abuse...poor kitty. My boy is getting so big...this little kitty reminds me of when it was the same size as him! Time just zooms by!

Making Pizza!

Look at the JOY on this face! We love to make pizza together! One of our FAVORITE things to do in the kitchen. What kid doesn't love rolling out dough!!?

Lexi was concentrating so much! It took her 20 minutes to roll out (play) with her pizza dough. Love it. :)

We make pizzas that fit into Gallon Ziploc bags...they freeze so easily and are perfect for dinner on the cheap! Delish! Add a little wheat flour to the dough...and your rotating your food storage! ha!
