Its official...

I'm the Primary President in my ward....pray for me!!!! Haha. I'm so excited! The theme this year is I am a Child of God. This topic has special meaning to me since my last year at girls camp...Daughters of a King. That was a life changing time for me. I love love love that I'm getting an opportunity to teach the children about their Divine Nature. The kiddos in my ward are so cute and some are such a handful! Send ANY ideas you have my way...

Can you tell I have a 2 year old boy...

I was cleaning out my purse and noticed I have accumulated 4 cars, 1 suv, 1 truck, 1 gas truck? and an airplane in my purse. Wow! Its very helpful to have them on hand in case he drops one of his toys while we're driving but this is getting a little excessive!

Jacob recognizes his swing and it was so funny to watch him climb into it and swing for a while when I was making dinner. As a mom...you tend to choose your battles a little. You know...like let them make a mess cause it keeps them entertained for 10 minutes even though it will take you ten minute or more to clean it up later.

Jacob also loves Lexi's Boppy. It was cute the other day when he fell asleep in it. It was 3:00 and Jacob had missed his nap because he was having a play date (we seem to have lots of those lately. I love this age) Usually he sleeps for 2-3 hours around 11-2. Poor guy...so tired. I think he's even drooling. oooo such a cutie.

It's April!!!

Its feels like Easter has come and gone WAAAYYYY too fast. I decided that I hate that it was in March. April should be the month for Easter. Confession: The real reason I hate it is because it was too close to St.Patrick's Day. My Aunt Sheri made me table cloths for each of the holidays for a wedding present...she's so smart and talented. So - I lovelovelove to change my table cloths with the holidays. Yes, with my son I have to wash the table cloth at least 3 times while in use for the holiday. Memories: I remember making sewing projects with my aunt Sheri. I remember my mom sewing us jammies for Christmas and I remember loving my aunt Shauna's table cloths. So fun.



Today's Scary Story: AHHHHHHHHH - I was on the phone in the kitchen and someone knocked on my door (Not Common). Jacob ran to the door and unlocked it. Ah! Then the STRANGER WALKED INTO MY HOUSE!!!! She just entered since it was unlocked. Turns out she was a sister of one of my neighbors BUT I DON'T care who she is...you don't just walk into someones house!!!!! I quickly ran to the door and "handled" the situation as calmly as possible. Needless to say, I'm getting a Top Lock on my door and I'm going to be more careful with my son near the door. Jacob can't open the door because of the child proof door knob but Ugh! Also---I'm going to have a little chat with my neighbor about her sister. Ugh. Stressful.



I love that in April it's STRAWBERRY Season !!! We made Jam today. Jacob helped mash and Lexi just watched quietly - very helpful. My friend Jennifer came over with her nephew for a play date and she kept me company. Spring is so pretty and the produce is great! 2.99 for 4 pounds at Vons last week. haha. Hopefully you find it as amusing as I do that I love to grocery shop. : ) Check out the ratio on this recipe....wow

Where are the April Showers? I love the rain. We'll be doing a Rain Dance for family night this week for all that want to attend. My house Monday at 7pm. Desert will be Jello. Songs will be provided by Jacob: On a Golden Springtime cs88 and Rain is Falling All Around cs24.
